At Lake Country K9 to 5 LLC, We Focus on Family Pet Training and Basic Obedience.

We use positive reinforcement and force-free techniques to help you teach your dog basic obedience, socialization, and confidence building!

Group Class Important Information

  1. All Dogs and Puppies MUST be at Least 8 weeks of age at the time of sign up AND have PROOF of Age Appropriate shots.

  2. All Puppies Must be on a Flat Collar, Harness and a 4 or 6 foot leash. NO PRONGS, E-COLLARS OR FLEX LEASHES ALLOWED AT OUR FACILITY

  3. 2 people per dog are allowed at ALL of our locations. This makes it easier to space out during class, as well as keeps training moving through our short sessions.

  4. PLEASE BRING 100-200 Pea Sized treats! We Use treats for training, And though that number may seem excessive we would rather you have too many than to run out.

  5. Please Potty your dog BEFORE entering our building. Poop Bag Station is available for your convenience

  6. Our 6 Week Classes are Meant to Increase in Difficulty each week, We suggest you sign up to pay per class or for an open enrollment class to work at your own pace if you cannot or will not commit to practicing with your dog in between classes.

  • Intermediate Obedience Class

    In this 6 Week Class we Begin to Hone in the Obedience Skills We Learned in Star Puppy Class. We add, Wait at the door, Stay, Leave it And Swing, Loose Leash Walking and Continue to Work on Our Cues With added Distance Duration and Distractions.

    This Class is Best for puppies who have graduated Puppy Star Class with us !

    Intermediate Class starts 2 weeks after each AKC Star Puppy Class ends (Same day and time as the original puppy Class graduates can continue to attend classes without a schedule change!

  • ADVANCED Obedience

    This Class is Best for Dogs Over 6 months of age that have completed our Basic Obedience class and/or our Intermediate Obedience class.

    With a Heavy Focus On Loose Leash Walking, We start to challenge both our clients and their dogs. Not only do we increase Distance, duration and distractions, We also teach you to start fading out your lure (treats) so your dog can complete commands on hand signal or verbal cue alone. On a Case by Case Basis We may also Start working dogs Off leash. (at trainers Discretion)
