At Lake Country K9 to 5 LLC, We Focus on Family Pet Training and Basic Obedience.

We use positive reinforcement and force-free techniques to help you teach your dog basic obedience, neutrality (socialization), and confidence building!

Basics 1 & 2 Important Information

  1. All Dogs and Puppies MUST be at least 6 months old AND have completed 3 sets of puppy shots and Recieved their rabies Vaccine By the first class date

  2. All Dogs Must be on a Flat Collar, Harness, and a 4 or 6-foot leash. NO PRONGS, E-COLLARS, OR FLEX LEASHES ALLOWED AT OUR FACILITY

  3. 2 people per dog are allowed at ALL of our locations. This makes it easier to space out during class, as well as keeps training moving through our short sessions.

    1. Well Behaved Children Welcome to Participate HOWEVER We will Ask you to LEAVE Class IF you bring your children and they refuse to listen, run around, climb on our equipment, throw things, yell or therwise cause a disruption during class. (in which event your children will not be welcome back)

  4. PLEASE BRING 100-200 Pea-Sized treats! We Use treats for training, And though that number may seem excessive we would rather you have too many than to run out.

  5. Please Potty your dog BEFORE entering our building. Poop Bag Station is available for your convenience

  6. Our classes are Meant to Increase in Difficulty each week, which requires owners to commit, to practicing with their dog at home in between classes.

Basics 1: (Beginner)

  • Basic Obedience Class is a group class, which meets once per week for 6 weeks.

    Best for Older puppies over 6 months old and Adult dogs Who have never had obedience training or who need refreshers. (this is a great class to enroll newly adopted adult rescue dogs in!)

    In this class we use Positive Reinforcement, to teach you to teach your dog; Name Game/Attention, Sit, Down, Come, Loose Leash Walking and Stay. (it is the adult dog version of puppy kindergarten)

    In this class we will also go over common problem behaviors, Socialization/nuetrality in public, meeting strangers and jumping, Barking Counter Surfing etc.

    Each class is 45 Minutes in length

    We do Require a Minimum of 2 Signups In order to Hold each class.

    All Dogs Must have Age Appropriate Shots and be able to be in the presence of other dogs without issue.

    $165.00 per 6 week Session

Basics ll: Intermediate Obedience

  • Basics ll; Intermediate Obedience is a group Class that meets once a week for 8 weeks

    Best for Older puppies over 6 months old and Adult dogs who have already gone through a puppy or adult manners class (either with us or another trainer)

    We work on

    • Sit (6 different sits)

    • Lay down/Stay (360 and 20 ft stays)

    • adding distance distraction and duration to all cues

    • Come from 20 ft away with other dogs nearby.

    • Place,

    • Leave it

    • Drop it.

    • Passing other dogs and people while loose leash walking (calmly w/o pulling)

    Each class is 45 Minutes in length
