I have been practicing Reiki for 3 years and have over 20 years (on and off) of experience in dog training. My journey began at the age of 8 when I received my heart dog from Patricia McConnell, who introduced me to the world of dog training. Throughout my childhood and teenage years, I was deeply involved in training, showing dogs, and leading group obedience classes through 4-H and FFA. Over the past 4 years, I have also worked with a rescue/shelter, focusing on basic obedience and addressing a wide range of behavioral challenges.
Since incorporating Reiki into my dog training, I have observed a noticeable difference in how animals respond to me. My unique skills with animals have guided me through life-and-death situations, particularly when picking up strays or handling police-seized dogs. I will initially be offering basic obedience training but will also specialize in addressing complex behavioral issues. Additionally, I have a passion for competition obedience and plan to train in that area as well."
