Dog Walking FAQS

  • Monday- Friday 9am -2pm

  • No we do not walk on Saturdays and Sundays and we are Closed for the Following Holidays:

    • New years day

    • Memorial Day

    • 4th of July

    • Labor Day

    • Thanksgiving

    • Christmas Day

  • NO! We do not require teachers to book July-August

  • We walk dogs 260 days a year in every type of weather, including rain, snow and summer heat. However, your dog’s safety is our # 1 priority so we may alter walk lengths to ensure the comfort and health of your dog in the event of extreme cold or heat.

  • Cancellations must be recieved 24 hours or more in advance to avoid being charged for that days walk.

    With the Exception of Prepaid Packages; Cancellation fees are waived for clients who purchase prepaid packages unless they fail to cancel before we arrive to walk.

  • Same Day requests Are dependent on our availability

    Same Day requests are not accepted in the following circumstances:

    December 22-31st. All Requests for these Dates Must be submitted by 9pm On December 20th. Requests submitted past that deadline will be declined.

  • We require a Credit or Debit Card to be added to your Time to Pet Account and be kept on file in order to Book and Pay for all services.

    APPLE AND GOOGLE PAY ARE ACCEPTED THROUGH THE TIME TO PET MOBILE APP!

    Clients May Choose to leave Cash

    • Cash Payments are due At the time of or in advance of Services. (reflected as an account credit)

    • A Card on file will still be required in order to request services.

      • Payments not received will result in your card on file being billed for all past due completed walks.

      • Card Billing Failure will Result in Immediate termination of services until balance is paid in full.

    We DO NOT Accept: Personal Checks, Money Orders, Paypal, Venmo, zelle, cash app or any other 3rd party payment service.

  • NO. We do not accept schedule requests via text, phone call or email

    The reason we use scheduling software is first and for most for your convenience (book anywhere anytime) and secondly so there are no Mix ups. Its very easy to put down a wrong date or time, forget to copy the request to the schedule or even completely miss an email or text message when using a paper scheduling system; further having a scheduling software allows you to go back and go through your requested appointments to make sure everything is scheduled correctly and or make changes as needed!

  • Fastest Way to initiate Services is by Filling out our Sign Up Form. All Form Submissions are Responded to within 1 business day

  • Our Clients have the choice Between group or private walks When selecting Services during booking on Time to pet

  • We offer Pre-Determined arrival windows for our services.

    Our Clients Choose their time block: 8:30am-11:30am, 11:00am-2:00p, 1:30p-4:30p or 4:00p-7:00p

    We cannot guarantee a specific arrival time, however

    We guarantee we’ll show up during your requested window Or the Walk is On us! (Via Credit on your account)

  • We Confirm our Schedule Month at a time.

    We accept requests, as far as 4 months in advance and up to 6am same day (subject to our Availability)

  • We absolutely are! Our Business Is Insured and Our Employees Bonded through PCI.

    We are a full time, Reliable, Dependable and highly professional Dog walking business that takes our reputation very seriously.

  • Not Only Do we Bond our Employees; Each Employee is Screened heavily Prior to employment. Each Candidate Must be 18 years or older, Pass a 5 year State and Federal Back Ground Check in order to be considered. Further Once they are hired on they Have to complete two weeks of on the job training where they shadow our owner or manager, 2 weeks where we shadow them and they have to complete our online training, Pet first aid and cpr, and dog bite prevention within the first 30 days of employment. Additional online certifications are also due to be Completed within their first 90 days! All of this is required because we do not believe this job is as easy as picking up a leash and going!

    As you see we have a rigorous process for employment aimed at providing the best experience possible for our clients.

  • We train soley using Positive Reinforcement. We do not use any methods that require force or fear. We also do not allow clients to use ecollars , prong or choke collars during our classes.

    • Catch Canine Trainers- Cerified Dog trainer.

    • Fear Free Pet Professional Certification

    • Dog bite Prevention Certification

    • Pet first aid and CPR Certified

  • The Biggest Difference between the Courses is Flexibility.

    With Our Regular Classes Clients Must Commit to a Day and Time for 6 Weeks in a row. Example Every Monday at 6pm for 6 weeks. While this May not be difficult for a single 6 week course; in order to continue training, one must then commit to another 6 week course which most likely will not be the same day and time as the first.

    Where as each of our Levels Classes are held 2-3 times per week and Clients are Allowed to Choose Whatever Classes (at their level or below) fit Best for their schedule in any particular week!

    This Model Also Allows for Students to Move at their own pace. You can Choose to stay in the class level your in, Join Lower Level Classes OR Move up as you and your dog hit the criteria.

  • You will receive a Course Syllibus at the orientation. We will Also Email a copy of the next Levels Currculum and homework after you meet the move up criteia for each level.

  • For puppy Kindergarten and Private sessions YES. However Levels are drop in Classes therefore the trainer teahing the class may change based on what day you come.

    • A Copy of Up to date vaccines If you did not upload them during sign up.

    • Your dog Must be on a flat collar or harness - NO Choke/prong or shock collars will be allowed.

    • 4 or 6 ft leash - NO FLEXI LEASHES

    • Treats ! High Value and Lots of them! think 200-500 pea sized pieces.
