  • Open Positions:  

    • Dog Walker: Monday, Wednesday & Fridays

      • 9 am - 2pm or

      • 10 am-3 pm (12-15 hours per week)

    • Dog walker Tuesday, Thursday

    • 9 am - 2pm or

    • 10 am-3 pm (8-10 hours per week)

All of our staff are employees (W-2), not independent contractors (10-99)

  • ****Please note: You must have a car and a deep love for dogs to apply for this position!  Must also be able to self-manage and must be comfortable walking in inclement weather.****

    Job description for Dog Walkers:

    • Our walks are 10, 20 or 30 Minutes in length. Each Client Chooses their walk length, You are expected to walk for the entire duration of the timer. 

    • Most of our walks are Private walks (one family at a time) They may have 1-4 dogs that will need to be walked together (or split the visit to walk separately) 

    • If you want to walk multiple dogs or if you want to take dogs to a trail, your car must be ‘dog-friendly.’  Please be aware that dogs may shed in your car and/or may track mud in during inclement weather. A heavy blanket and towels will help protect your car.

    • Even when it is raining or snowing, dogs still need to go out. If its under 0 All walks can be changed to 10 minute potty breaks. 

    • You Must Be Comfortable BOTH Walking and Driving in Rain AND SNOW

    • If dogs get dirty on hike or walk, please hose them off and towel dry them (owners will provide towels) before putting them back in house. The owner will thank you!

    • You will Be Expected to Complete 5-7 Private Walks Each shift. Our Routes are established, long term Clients; a Full 5 hour Shift would be 7 clients and including 30 Minute paid break. Clients are scheduled during one of the following shifts 

      • 9:00am to 2:00pm 

      • 10:00am to 3:00pm

    • All our Clients use Lockboxes or Garage codes. All Located in our App. Codes should NOT be written down Outside of our Software nor should you take keys with you. 

    • Occasionally, clients may be home sick or taking a day off at home; please be aware that even if you don’t see client, client may be home. 

    • Please put the key in your pocket as soon as you get in the house, so you don’t leave it inside and lock yourself out!

    • Even if you are walking a very friendly dog you are expected to Keep the dog you are walking away from other dogs unless specifically Instructed otherwise. 

    • All dogs must be leashed during their walks. NO EXCEPTIONS

    • We Pay Semi Monthly on the 15th and 30th of each month

  • The pay schedule is as follows:

    • $17.50 Per hour Starting + .75 Per mile (Avg 30 Miles Per shift) 

    • Workers compensation insurance

    • Taxes withheld from paychecks; we handle the payment of your employment taxes to the government (no need to budget for that end-of-the-year tax payment!)

    • Semi Monthly Pay through direct deposit

    • Bonding and general liability insurance

    • Referral bonuses

    • Fixed schedules

    • 20 hrs Mandatory PTO. After 6 Months.

    • Reimbursed Certifications Relevant to this job after 6 months of employment

    • Paid Training/Certifications; Raises upon proof of completion

    • Must be 18 years or older

    • Must have a drivers license and CLEAN driving record.

    •  Must have a smart phone with unlimited data and texts

    • Must be able to use critical thinking and problem solving skills.

    • Must be willing to make a commitment to work at least 6 months for the company

    • Must be able to pass a criminal background check

    • You Must be Comfortable with dogs of all Sizes and Breeds!

    • You must be able to be punctual and reliable. Show up to all shifts scheduled (with the exception of illness or injury of course)

    • You Must be a Self starter

    • Excellent time management skills are a Must!

      • We expect our walkers to complete TWO 20 minute walks per hour. (Our Current Routes are Long time Clients and this expectation is achievable for anyone with excellent time management skills)

    • You must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. 

    • Must be in physical condition to walk up to 10 dogs (of Varying sizes and temperaments) per Shift.

    • Must be able to work in varying weather conditions. 

    • Loves dogs - Adores them!

    • Organized- Ability to effectively manage time and workload effectively. 

    • Self reliant- Dog Walkers work alone and need to be able to depend on their own skills/ judgment.

    • Strong work ethic- Be at work on time, meet deadlines, give your best.

    • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

    • A detail-oriented person who can follow directions without modification is required.

    • Walk and play with dogs, from tiny to XL.

    • Enforce basic obedience commands and proper leash walking behaviors.

    • the ability to Complete Each Appointment/ walk Based on time Booked without cutting it short.

    • Feed and refresh water when requested

    • Clean up any pet messes and properly dispose of dog poop.

    • Observe pets' attitude/behavior, notice unusual changes that could indicate illness/injury.

    • Read and Follow ALL CLIENT NOTES AS WRITTEN.

    • Administer medication to dogs as requested.

    • Administer first aid and/or CPR if needed/Transport pet to a veterinarian

    • Check in and out of your visits using our phone app and Take pictures of the dogs using your phone.

    • Maintain security of clients home by locking doors, alternating blinds and lights, etc.

  • You do not need to have previous experience as a dog walker However a General knowledge of dog breeds, behavior/health, and Leash training knowledge is helpful as would be Experience interacting with customers in a professional setting.

    Preference will be given to those with past experience in Animal Related fields (Doggy Daycares, kennels, Human Societies, Pet sitting or other dog-walking companies)

    Dog trainers Previous Experience is HIGHLY Preferred.

    • HSD or GED REQUIRED

    • Pet First aid and CPR Certification or Being willing to get certified. Company Reimbursed After 6 months of employment and Pay Raise Upon Completion
