Basics 2 is an Intermediate training program focused on real-world obedience, not just classroom skills.

🔁 HOW IT WORKS

After Basics 1 (or Comparable class with another trainer) All Clients can Join Basics 2 Module 1. Progress through each skills Module at your dog’s pace, enroll in classes that work for your schedule.


🧩 WHAT WE COVER

  • Module 1: Foundation &Control:

    • Adding Distance & Duration to what we learned in Basics 1.

  • Module 2: Recall & Control

    • Recall Games to Improve focus and reliability

  • Module 3: Real World Reliability

    • Fading our Lures, Public Skills and Impulse Control

🎓 GRADUATION GOAL

Your dog is ready for CGC/Advanced Obedience when they can:

  • Hold sit/down for 2 minutes

  • Stay calm with handler movement and distance

  • Recall reliably from 15–20 ft

  • Walk past dogs and people without pulling

  • Drop items on command

  • Behave appropriately in public settings
